Paju is a village near Seoul at the North Korean border. The area will be developed. A new library should offer a public meeting point for all generations. There are a day nursery, a big kids study area, several lecture rooms and a grand music hall.
The circulation celebrates a way through this common space. The facade is protected from sunshine by perforated metallic elements, offering soft light for reading. The perforation refers to all letters and all wisdom of the world.
